Explore your creativity in mixed media & monoprinting.

Explore the creative potential of using conventional and unorthodox artmaking materials, in interesting and creative combinations.

Materials will be supplied, however participants can bring additional paintbrushes, paper-one or two sheets medium to heavy weight artists paper, i.e. Stonehenge, BFK Rives and bring along your sketch book/ visual diary and/or images/source material.

OPTIONAL- Brushes, old toothbrush and/or nailbrush, spatula/scraper- (an old phone card or credit card will do), sponge, clean rags, glue,
plus conventional art media- paints, pastels (oil and/or chalk), few sticks charcoal, workable fixative.

Cost: $75 or $65 Students Materials and equipment supplied.
Monoprinting technique will be demonstrated.

About the tutor: Garry Andrews is a qualified professional and multi award winning artist with extensive visual arts industry experience, including high profile mural art for Darling Harbour Sydney (with Public Art Squad), ABC TV, Cairns Regional Gallery, Brisbane City Council, and Dept.of Environment. He is represented by National Gallery of Australia, Faber Castell International Collection, Griffith University and many other important collections. Garry is a member of Qld Community Arts Network (QCAN)
